The Violet Chimes are a duo from Washington, Tyne & Wear, in the UK, now based in the Hexham area of Northumberland. Songwriter, Jamie Harwood, Guitars, Vocals, Drum Programming etc. plus John Farrer, Bass, Backing Vocals. Originally formed in the early 1980s and with no studio recordings to their name they decided to record and release the old songs for their first album 'All At Sea'
